Some want to change their career and learn how to make a saleable product: some want to learn a new hobby and others want to expand their knowledge of working with precious metals. Many people who come on courses are complete beginners. All students are encouraged to be creative and express themselves. Your jewellery course will be customised to your needs and ability. Carefully constructed Projects are available should you want them. Tuition is on a one-to-one or at the most two-to-one basis so you receive an intensive training and therefore achieve very quickly. You are provided with notes on specific techniques as well as invaluable tools and equipment information for those wanting to set up their own small workshop. Many jewellery making techniques are unchanged from ancient times: on your course you can experience these age-old processes and give them a modern application in your design. Everybody leaves with at least one finished piece of jewellery. All tools and equipment are provided: students may wish to supply their own silver, gold and gemstones. A comprehensive list of stockists is supplied when you book your course. Jewellery making is an absorbing craft and as such can be an excellent way to de-stress.
