Jewellery Making Coursesfor beginners and more advanced students available throughout the year... Weekdays - £100 per day all year Weekends - £125 per day all year
You can now buy a course to give as a gift Gift Vouchers can be ordered via email or phone and posted to you. Vouchers can be for one or more days and are valid for one year. They are posted to you in their own presentation envelope. Just some of the techniques a beginner can learn on a one day course in jewellery making range from working in PMC, bead stringing and professional finishing of necklaces and bracelets, silver soldering, methods of surface texturing, wire work and creating cages for crystals. On a two day course students can explore the more advanced techniques of stone setting, ring making, acid etching, tiara construction, model making for casting plus many other processes. Many jewellery making techniques are unchanged from ancient times: on your course you can experience these age-old processes and give them a modern application in your design. Everybody leaves with at least one finished piece of jewellery. All tools and equipment are provided: students may wish to supply their own silver, gold and gemstones. A comprehensive list of stockists is supplied when you book your course and notes on specific techniques are provided. Jewellery making is an absorbing craft and as such can be an excellent way to de-stress.
